Grounded’s new update is available starting today (October 1) and promises a whole new experience. Get ready to see new buildings, crafting items, and some incredible Halloween-themed stuff.
Discover now all the cool stuff and get ready for a really spooky adventure! Here is what you need to know.
A Hedge Lab and New Crafts
The Grounded universe is expanding now with a new lab added in the dense branches of the well-known Hedge biome. You can climb the branches, discover the Hedge Lab, and possibly meet some new creatures lurking in the halls. How spooky is that?
The Hedge Lab also has new ziplines that can be utilized to reach the places with extra speed. You can craft zome ziplines if you want and place them throughout the backyard.
You can choose to craft the Spinning Wheel, too, which can process various resources. On the Grounded Developer Vlog, there are many details on how the Spinning Wheel can be utilized to process plant fiber automatically over time.
Other things to craft are signs. You can craft and customize them with different basic images. Then, decorate the rooms.
A few creatures have been updated to become more of a challenge to players. The Stink Bugs have now more dangerous poison damage, the Bombardier Beetles come with deadlier acid attacks, and the ant soldiers have more and new damaging attacks.
A few stuff now have timers, like food that spoils and ant eggs, that can hatch even after being moved.
New Landmarks and Other Items
To get better in the Halloween spirit, Grounded added new landmarks and items in the backyard. A jack-o-lantern, for example, can be spotted near the Hedge biome. It offers a ton of light during the night. Candy corn is also scattered around the map. The Frankenline landmark is an etch-a-sketch, and you can explore it, too.
Enjoy the new update now! Grounded is available for Xbox One and PC users.
