Google Pixel 4a is now one of the most anticipated mid-range handsets. The smartphone’s arrival has been postponed ever since the cancellation of the Google I/O Developer conference.
That event was canceled because of the current pandemic worldwide, and multiple dates were tipped since then. Now, it seems that the smartphone might finally hit the markers next month. Here is what you need to know.
Google Pixel 4a Official Release Date: What to Expect
The Google Pixel 4a should arrive on August 3. The launch date was revealed by a well-known tipster called @jon_proser. The tipster has earned his reputation for leaking out precise information of Google and Apple products. However, Googe has not confirmed or announced a thing about such a launch date.
Whatever the case, the Google Pixel 4a release date is long due, and the rumors and speculations are no longer enough to keep us content. If the suggested August 3 release event turns out to be accurate, then we might come across some official posters and teasers in the coming days.
The Google Pixel 4a has been leaked on many occasions online. It even got its certification via FCC recently. Since the device has been doing rounds for long on the Internet, most of its specs and features are now known.
For example, the upcoming Pixel handset is said to house a compact 5.7-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The device is expected to arrive with a single 12.2MP Sony IMX363 camera module at its rear panel. It seems that Google will be sticking to this camera setup for a while.
As for its hardware, the Google Pixel 4a might house Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC paired with the Adreno 618 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage.
Other features include a 3,080mAh battery with an 18W fast charging, and Android OS topped with a stock Android UI. More details should be available in the coming days, but only if the launch date of the Google Pixel 4a turns out to be true.
