Garena Free Fire announced one of the biggest crossover events so far, with Netflix’s popular series Money Heist.
The game will introduce the cool and well-known outfits from the TV series, some gear, and an all-new mode. If you’re a Money Heist fan and play Free Fire, the upcoming crossover event is for you! Here is what you need to know.
Garena Free Fire Meets Money Heist: Features, New Mode, and More
Garena has teamed up with Netflix for a Free Fire and Money Heist crossover event that is expected to arrive this September. The limited-time Plan Bermuda event will bring Money Heist-themed outfits (probably the most expected stuff), some gear, and a brand-new game mode.
The much-awaited mode will be titled Money Heist, and it’s a 4v4 mode. Players will have to race against an opposite team to earn as many banknotes as possible. Also, players will be tasked with enabling in-game printing presses spotted around the map. Things won’t be that easy, meaning that pressing only a button won’t do the trick. We’ll have to occupy and protect the surrounding area to keep that money coming. The first team to reach the cash target within the given time will become a winner.
The Money Heist crossover event could be described as a full takeover. So we can expect the Money Heist theme to be everywhere, from the Plan Bermuda parachutes and airplanes to the Money Heist safe on Spawn Island. The event will also add a host of now-famous outfits from the TV series, including the red jumpsuits and masks.
“Creating memorable experiences for our Free Fire community is key, and there are few better ways than to do so by teaming up with one of the most popular Netflix series, Money Heist,” explained Harold Teo, Producer at Garena.
