Foldable RAZR Phone by Motorola Is Coming Soon

Samsung already released the Galaxy Fold this year, a beautiful fused combination of phone and tablet in one single device. It sure has some amazing specs, but unfortunately for the South Korean company, it’s way too fragile, and critics didn’t hesitate to say it. Now it looks like Motorola, the famous and very old phone manufacturer from USA, also wants to bring a foldable phone to the stores.

Motorola established the event for the release of its foldable phone, and it has been scheduled for November 13 in Los Angeles.

Motorola already teased us

The notorious company headquartered in Chicago sent invites to the media regarding a release event on the date mentioned above. Every invite has a GIF file that shows the original Motorola RAZR being wrapped around by a new mysterious device. This clearly suggests that the awaited device will have a foldable display.

The invite contains sayings like “You’re going to flip” and “highly anticipated unveiling of a reinvented icon,” which kind of also suggests that the new gadget will be from the RAZR series.

What are the specs?

The foldable smartphone is rumored to run on a Snapdragon 710 processor. The most plausible variants are either 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. We can expect the battery to be at 2,739 mAh, which isn’t bad at all.

Considering the price, this is where things are starting to get fired up. $1500 will most likely be the starting price, which is still lower than the Galaxy Fold, which began to be sold for prices around the amount of $2000 for a piece.

The RAZR series from Motorola has consisted of nice-looking mobile phones for their time, and it was first introduced in 2004. The phones were clamshell-styled, and the latest release from the series was the Droid RAZR launched in 2012.
