The new game, Doom Eternal, is a first-person shooter that continues the action of the 2016’s Doom. We know that in this game, the action will take place on Earth and space. The Earth will be dominated by the forces of Hell, while in space, you will be on the innermost moon of Mars, called Phobos. The gameplay is the same, but you will have an addition of powerful weapons, stronger enemies, and traversal techniques.
Doom Eternal – Release Date, Modes, Demons, And More
The number of demons will be higher than in the old games, so the firefights against them will be the same. What is new is the way that you can damage a demon, because they are smarter now and more capable. You will see returning the following fiends – Pain Elementals, Arch-Viles, Cacodemons, Barons of Hell, Revenants, Imps, and Arachnotrons.
Besides this, you will see that in the weapon department, you will have new guns and old ones with some changes, or even revamped. The primary character, Doom Slayer, is the way you know it, just that it has more mobility now and new abilities. Also, new suit abilities are added alongside a grappling hook, and the power-ups, of course.
Finally, Doom Eternal comes with two modes, the Battlemode and the Invasion mode. In the first one, you will play in a multiplayer mode, you can be Doom Slayer, and another player can be a demon. In the Invasion mode, other players can burst into your single-mode as demons.
Doom Eternal will come for the Nintendo Switch version as well, but not at the same time when it comes to the other consoles and PC. The release date is definite now, and you will have the game starting with March 20, 2020, for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
