It’s been eight long years since the latest game from the Diablo series hit the stores after being developed and published by Blizzard. Diablo 3 was an exciting role-playing game that was unfolding a horrendous world where the player has to fight his way through evil.
Diablo 4 promises even more exciting gameplay than its predecessor, and we’re eager to convince ourselves of it once the upcoming game gets out. The release date is uncertain, but we can expect Diablo 4 to land in a maximum of two years.
The game’s director is ruining hopes
The director of Diablo 4 is making the fans lose hope for seeing the game running too soon on any platform. He said during a 2019 Blizzcon that the next Diablo game would take a while before releasing.
However, the trailer for Diablo 4 looks spectacular, and it’s making us even more eager to play the upcoming game:
The YouTube account of Diablo 4 makes it clear for what the fans should expect:
“Diablo IV is the newest incarnation of the genre defining ARPG players have come to know and love. Hellish new features, brutal challenges, and an indisputable return to darkness lie at the core of our hard work. Take a glimpse into the terror that awaits.”
With Diablo 4 surely not launching in 2020, it’s safe to assume that it will be running on the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, respectively. With Diablo 3 being available for a wide range of platforms, its successor cannot possibly fall short. Diablo 3 is available for the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
