Diablo 3 Season 21 brings the Trial of Tempests, where we have to deal with deadly elemental effects with new stuff such as armor sets and cosmetics items.
When it was released in 2012, the ARPG Diablo 3 didn’t succeed in gaining so much attention due to unpopular features. Over time, the devs got rid of those features, improving the game significantly, fixing balance issues, adding the much-anticipated necromancer class in the Rise of The Necromancer DLC, and introducing the Reaper of Souls, too.
Seasons were also added, along with sleek features that encouraged the end-game content. The newest season promises new challenges and other intriguing stuff. Here is everything you need to know.
Diablo 3 Season 21: The Trials of Tempests
Diablo 3 just started its 21st season, which means it’s the right time to begin playing again. For those players who make a seasonal character, it is a must to start a new game.
The player begins at level 1, their storage and inventory are empty, no crafting recipes are known, the artisans are at rank 1, etc. However, we can access a seasonal skill and collect cosmetics such as portrait frames and pets unique to this season.
Season 21 is titled Trials of Tempests. The seasonal skill causes players to direct elemental power every 90 seconds. And even if the effect is random, it comes with a rain of poison meteors, lightning breath, a wall of flame, tornadoes, and a giant snowball. The elemental powers have varying degrees of value dependent on class type.
After finishing chapters 2-4 of the Season 21, players will be rewarded with Haedrig’s gifts. The gifts include pieces of armor, leading to a full set. The set armor earned depends on the class that opens the gifts. These are the sets for Season 21:
- Barbarian: Might of the Earth;
- Crusader: Thorns of the Invoker;
- Demon Hunter: The Shadow’s Mantle;
- Monk: Monkey King’s Garb;
- Necromancer: Grace of Inarius;
- Witch Doctor: Raiment of the Jade Harvester;
- Wizard: Firebird’s Finery.
Diablo 3 Season 21 started on July 3 and will be available for almost three months.
