Desperados 3’s new DLC is almost here. A new trailer reveals features and other significant details.
The real-time strategy game Desperados 3 has introduced more content since launching in June. The new stuff offers players some challenging missions to take on in the Wild West setting. Last month (August), for instance, one Baron’s Challenge brought a stealthy crew of animals to use.
Now, players can access the first of the game’s three-part paid DLC, dubbed “Money for the Vultures, to continue Desperados 3’s story and experience. Here is what you need to know.
Desperados 3 Brings New DLC: What to Expect
Kicking off three months after the initial game ends, the mission “Late to the Party” makes the Desperados gang to join forces and discover a vault of money hidden by enemy Vincent DeWitt. According to Steam’s listing, the DLC’s first part comes with a price tag of $4.99, but players can also purchase the Desperados 3 Season Pass for $12.99. The pass includes Part 2 “later this year” and an “epic finale” as well.
Even if this mission’s story appears to be derivative of the kinds of heist movies that have also inspired other games such as Path of Exile, fans will probably be excited to have more stuff to dive into.
Desperados 3 is considered one of the highest-rated titles of 2020 on website OpenCritic, and a new three-part story might increase its fame even more.
So far, 16 missions were introduced across three chapters in Desperados 3, taking approximately 25 hours to complete. It will be great to see how Money for the Vultures will change things around. If all of that content still isn’t enough for fans, there are even more Wild West experiences awaiting. The Desperados Pen & Paper RPG launched alongside Desperados 3, and its rulebook is now free to download.
