The saga around Death Stranding continues, and the game’s director Hideo Kojima, is full of exciting surprises, as ever. In the most recent statement from Kojima, the director announces the fans of the title that the game will roll out on PC in Summer 2020.
“Thanks to all of you who have been supporting DEATH STRANDING! DEATH STRANDING release on PS4 is November 8, 2019!! Furthermore, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS is happy to announce that DEATH STRANDING will be coming to PC in the early summer of 2020,” said Hideo Kojima on Twitter.
Undoubtedly, this is good news for all the PC players out there who want to play Death Stranding, a title that was supposed to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive. The announcement comes as a significant surprise for players around the world. At first, Kojima suggested that Kojima Productions is in Sony’s debt since Sony helped Kojimo recover and funded the project. Accordingly, only PS4-exclusive games were expected.
Death Stranding To Launch On PC In Summer 2020
As it seems now, Kojima Productions and Sony changed their minds and will allow the release of Death Stranding on PC, as well, in Summer 2020. We don’t know many details on the game if it would be a full port to PC or a standalone title, but we do know that will come out.
505 Games, the developers of the title, are famous for ports like Control, Abzu, or Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Out of them, Control was an exclusive release for the Epic Games Store, so we should also expect Death Stranding for PC to be available on that platform, exclusively.
Until we get more information on the Death Stranding PC release, remember that Death Stranding will launch on PlayStation 4 on November 8th, 2019. Also, Hideo Kojima launched a new 48-minute gameplay video of the title, revealing more details on what the players should expect.
