Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be among the top games from 2020, and it’s expected to launch in September for the following platforms: PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Soundtrack
Music will be playing a significant role in the upcoming game, and developer and publisher CD Projekt Red has hired some interesting composers to do the job regarding the soundtracks. Not one, but three composers.
There are three composers appointed to add an extra reality feeling for Cyberpunk 2077, and they all have compelling work experience in their resume. Everybody likes music since it’s a form of embracing reality a lot better. The three composers are Paul Leonard-Morgan (Dredd, Limitless), Marcin Przybylowicz (The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), and P.T. Adamczyk (Far Cry 5, Loners).
Leonard-Morgan offers us some insight for what to expect from the game’s music, as speaking for comicbook.com:
“And I think the thing with Cyberpunk, in the question of ‘What style, is it?’ — I would say that it’s hardcore electronica,” Leonard-Morgan says.
“There are loads of synths going on there, but there’s also humanity. Because there’s a lot of humanity in Cyberpunk, in a very different way from Tales From the Loop, obviously. But there’s the stuff that happens in [really emotional] moments, even as there’s obviously full-on chase sequences going on. So we’ve got real instances of going over-the-top with it, but there are some really haunting bits as well. You’ve got all this stuff that goes on — you really kind of create an emotional connection to those characters. I would say it’s hardcore electronica, with a lot of humanity.”
