Samsung is over half a year away since it brought to the world its first foldable phone. Namely Galaxy Fold, the device is a beautiful combination of both smartphone and tablet. Although it promoted a new trend among phone manufacturers, Samsung had some significant issues regarding the Galaxy Fold device. Therefore, it’s practically mandatory for the South Korean giant to learn from the mistakes of the past.
Galaxy Fold was unexpectedly fragile, and Samsung didn’t try to hide this unpleasant aspect one bit. The successor Galaxy Fold 2 will be presented next month along with three other high-end devices made by Samsung: Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
Equipped with a 25W Fast Charger
The 5G variant of the Galaxy Fold 2 now has the supporting documents that reveal something very exciting about the phone. The device will arrive bundled with an EP-TA800 charger. The total power output of the charger is 25W. The maximum power output is 9V and 2.27A or 11V and 2.25A. By comparison, the predecessor Galaxy Fold has a fast charger capable of only 15W.
Galaxy Fold 2 specs
Although there’s nothing official yet, reliable sources point to some awesome specs for the upcoming foldable phone from Samsung. As the highlight, we must mention the triple-camera setup mounted on the rear and equipped with a 108MP primary camera. The device will be available in two versions of storage: 256GB and 512GB. There will also be a larger screen mounted on the front of the foldable gadget, where there’s a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. As you unfold the phone, you’ll see a larger 7.7-inch foldable screen capable of 120Hz refresh screen.
The future sounds good for Samsung, as the South Korean company proves once more that it has very ambitious plans.
