Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption Features and Other Details

Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption will be the third major paid expansion that Borderlands 3 has received since its release. The DLC was confirmed by Gearbox and unveiled during the latest episode of the Borderlands Show.

Borderlands 3 will welcome a western-themed expansion and a bloodthirsty gang called the Devil Riders. The DLC’s director, Matt Cox, described Bounty of Blood as a “tough story of revenge and redemption.” He also hinted at new characters such as Juno, a reformed brawler, an unseen narrator, and Rose, the players’ guide.

Bounty of Blood is set in the region of Vestige, situated on the frontier planet Gehenna. The location and its NPC will vary based on players’ actions in the expansion. Players will also get to customize and ride JetBeast hoverbikes to explore the desert.

Gearbox announced during the Borderlands Show, the Takedown At The Guardian Breach, a free update that will be released on June 4. Such an event is a new gauntlet that has been developed specifically for players that are looking for more danger and challenges after completing the game. The update is similar to its previous Takedown At The Maliwan Blacksite gauntlet.

The Guardian Breach will balance its tasks to the number of players in a session, but it is designed to push a full session of four leveled-up Vault Hunters to their limits. Players will have to enroll in a reconnaissance mission to the Minos Prime planet to search for the source of a mysterious Guardian signal.

With low-gravity platforming sections, new enemies, and environmental challenges, players will have to fight against a mini-boss and a final one. The rewards will include themed weapons, collectible cosmetics, and gear. Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption will be launched on June 25.
