Even the Wild West of the nineteenth century cannot escape from the horrifying creatures of the dark, and the new trailer for Red Dead Online proves it. We’re less than two weeks away before Halloween comes, and a lot of games are receiving special dedicated content.
After the insanely popular battle royale game Apex Legends announced special content for Halloween, it’s now time for another major title to embrace the notorious celebration in its own way. Rockstar explains how in this new video:
Grim tidings are making their way to Red Dead Online with the very first Halloween Pass – a purchasable, limited-time upgrade stacked with macabre rewards across 20 ranks. Available through November 16, 2020.
With the new update for Halloween, Red Dead Online gets ghastly garments, apparitional armaments, terrifying tavern trappings, and further frights resembling humans with big horns.
Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X
Both Sony and Microsoft will be releasing the next-generation consoles PlayStaton 5 and Xbox Series X, respectively, in the middle of the next month. Besides the exclusive games for those gaming machines, some of the major titles from the predecessor consoles will be available as well for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Red Dead Online qualifies for the description. While PlayStation 5 will surely be running the majority of the titles available for PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X machine is compatible with all of the games available for all of its predecessor consoles.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (or Red Dead Online) was released by Rockstar in October 2018, and the developers continue to add a lot of focus to it, similar to what they’re doing in the case of GTA Online. RDR2 proposes the tale of the infamous Van der Linde gang as they wander the American land during the dawn of the modern age.
