The latest smartphone in the series is the ROG Phone 2. Recently, an upcoming device by the company got the Wi-Fi Alliance certification and was also seen at Geekbench. The mysterious smartphone was claimed to be the Asus ROG Phone 3. Here is what you need to know.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Specs and Features Unveiled
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has been seen with the Asus_1003D model number on Geekbench. According to the database, the smartphone will be launched with the Android 10 OS, which the last listing also suggested. The ROG Phone 3 is also listed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon with eight cores and 1.8GHz base frequency.
While we don’t know the name of the chipset yet, it is believed that the octa-core processor is the Snapdragon 865. Is such a thing turns out to be accurate, then we can expect the upcoming ROG Phone to arrive with a 5G connectivity.
The Geekbench listing indicates a 12GB RAM configuration, different from the 8GB RAM one claimed by the previous reports. So, the smartphone might be launched in more than one configuration. But, until Asus release any statements, everything is possible.
As for the benchmark performance, Asus ROG Phone 3 has succeeded to reach 910 points in the single-core, while in the multi-core test, it got 3,229 points.
As of now, many features and specs, such as the camera, display, and battery capacity of the device haven’t been unveiled. But, the rumor mill has just started, and we’re likely to receive more details in the coming weeks.
The Asus ROG series is undoubtedly one of the best smartphone series on the market, launched so far. It also has some rivals such as the IQOO and the Black Shark. All these brands have also arrived with a good grip in the segment.
