
Asus is getting ready to release its next flagship, the ROG Phone 3, on July 22.
Ahead of the release event, popular tipster Evan Blass has published a press render of the Asus ROG Phone 3. The upcoming handset resembles its predecessor a lot, but you need to check out a couple of upgrades. Here are the latest details.
Asus ROG Phone 3: What We Should Expect
Rumors, leaks, and reports, we’ve seen it all when it comes to Asus ROG Phone 3. We even got a couple of glimpses when the handset was spotted on various platforms, including the TEENA listing. However, a new press render offers us more details on what to expect from Asus’ upcoming flagship smartphone.
Firstly, Asus ROG Phone 3 seems to gave got rid of notches, sporting a sleek notch-less display. Like previous Asus handsets, it still got thick bezels on top and bottom that flaunts the dual front speakers.
As a comparison to the ROG Phone 2, the next smartphone doesn’t have sharp edges. The color accents on the front speakers seem to miss on the ROG Phone 3.
Other details of the upcoming handset include a USB-C port on the left side and a pair of physical buttons on the right edge. Some of the upgrades are a triple-camera setup, the previous variant came with only two cameras. The well-known LED-lit logo is still placed in the center on the rear panel of the smartphone.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Specs and Features
The Asus ROG Phone 3 is expected to come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED FHD+ resolution panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will house Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+ SoC paired with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.0 storage.
A 6,000mAh battery and a 30W fast charging support are believed to power the smartphone. Asus ROG Phone 3 will run on Android 10OS topped with ROG UI custom skin.
