Asus seems ready to release its next flagship gaming phone, called Asus ROG 3.

The smartphone has been rumored a lot and seen on multiple online platforms. Some of its features and specs were unveiled by the mobile benchmark website Geekbench, as well.

Recently, Asus ROG 3 has received its certification from another platform suggesting an imminent release. Here is what you should know.

Asus ROG 3 Expected Specs and Features

Asus ROG 3 has been certified by the EEC mobile authentication website in China. The device has cleared its certification with the model number ASUS ZS662KS. Unfortunately, the hardware information of the smartphone has not been unveiled by the certification website.

However, previous rumors and leaks have given us a lot of details on what to expect from the Asus ROG 3. The smartphone has also visited the Geekbench, and it is said to arrive with the Android 10 OS and a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with eight cores and a base frequency of 1.8GHz.

If the speculations are to be believed, then the next Asus ROG smartphone could house the Snapdragon 865 chipset. And since the processor has an integrated modem, we should expect the ROG 3 to arrive with 5G connectivity support.

Asus ROG 3 could be launched with up to 128GB RAM. The details on the storage capacity are still unknown, but some reports claim the device is likely to arrive with at least a 128GB storage option. While the smartphone has started making appearances on various websites, its key specs, such as the camera, display, and the battery should be soon revealed.

It would be intriguing to see if Asus ROG 3 arrives with a 120Hz display as its predecessor, or will come with a higher refresh rate. Besides, we should wait and see what game-oriented features the smartphone will pack. Asus should release an official statement in the coming months.
