Apple could have already underdevelopment of its newest feature. The Information reported the news of an upcoming iPad keyboard concept with a built-in trackpad. The revamped keyboard could be released this year in September at Apple’s fall event alongside the next-gen of iPad Pro.
It shouldn’t be unexpected to witness the giant tech introducing a new keyboard concept to its iPad Pro series. Such an upgrade is needed as the company hasn’t released a single update for too many years. In case you don’t know, Apple uses a rubber-dome concept for its iPad keyboards currently.
Apple’s Recent Plans Include a New Keyboard with a Trackpad for iPad Pro Series
First to report such news was Digitimes, stating that Apple intends to reveal an upcoming smart keyboard for iPad Pro. The upgrade will include a “glowing” scissor-switch concept that will offer the iPad Pro 2020 a backlit keyboard. Such a design would be similar to the MacBook Pro series. It is still unknown if Apple will release the same product.
The report further explained that the new accessory concept would debut somewhere in 2020, with the iPad and iPad Pro series in the second quarter of 2020. As for its mechanism, it could be introduced into a 13-inch MacBook Pro version, as well, that is supposed to release in the first quarter of 2020, reported Digitimes. Whatever Apple will choose to bring, some hints and teasers are much-waited.
Meanwhile, the giant tech’s next-gen of iPad Pro series is rumored to come with a 5G connectivity support, both sub-6Hz and mmWave bands. Other details involve a mighty A14X processor, which will probably be 50 % faster than the actual A13X one and Time-of-flight sensor for AR and enhanced camera performance. Apple might change its plans or introduce many other features as well. We wait for some official statements and other announcements.
