Apple has ended its much-awaited “Time Flies” event, revealing the new generation of smartwatches, including the Watch Series 6 and the Watch SE. The tech giant based in Cupertino has also launched the iPad Air 2020.

The Apple iPad Air 2020 flaunts a sleek 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. The laminated panel has 3.8 million pixels, anti-reflective coating, True tone, and P3 wide color gamut support.
The tablet houses one of the most powerful processors Apple has ever developed, the A14 Bionic chipset, based on 5nm architecture and 16-core Neural Engine. Apple claimed the processor offers better CPU and GPU performance than the previous A-series processors.
The 8th-generation of iPad will boot on iPadOS 14. The OS comes with new and incredible features such as Smart Selection, Data detectors, and Shape Recognition. The tablet also gets support for Apple Pencil, but the accessory is not included. Other features include new designs for incoming phone calls and FaceTime, Search, and Siri interactions. The widgets have been revamped, and unique sidebars for various apps like Photos or Files have been added.
Coming to photography skills, the Apple iPad Air 2020 sports a 12MP main rear camera with 4K video recording support. For video calls and selfies, the device packs a 7MP camera up front.
Other features include a built-in trackpad, TouchID, and Magic keyboard compatibility.

The Apple iPad Air 2020 comes with a price tag of $599 for the Wi-Fi variant. The Wi-Fi+ Cellular model starts at $729.
