We have all heard that the Apex Legends Season 5 release date has been set for May 12, 2020, on PS4 Xbox One and, of course, PC.
The name of the Season 5 of Apex Legends is Fortune’s Favor, and Respawn has promised to his fans a new legend, call Loba, Season Quests, and the fact that the new Battle Pass will be the main draws. We have good news: Apex Legends Season 5 will be launched on all platforms at the same time because there is no platform with an exclusive deal.
The studio has also confirmed that everyone will get access to this content without actually buying an Apex Legends Battle Pass. But those of you do buy them will earn new cosmetic rewards, over 100 exclusive items, such as Legendary skins and Apex Packs. The studio has also stated that the new Battle Pass content will be released altogether with the 5th Season.
We should also mention that all the cosmetic rewards in the Battle Pass are exclusive to Season 5, which means that they will probably not be available again.
The price of the Season 5 Battle Pass will probably not be changed. This actually means that it should be bought for 950 Apex Coins for the basic version. There is also another battle pass bundle which you can get for 2,800 Apex Coins. In the UK, a Battle Pass for Season 5 will probably cost you around £8. The Battle Pass will include the usual XP Boost, which adds a 10% bonus to any Top 5 Finish score that you earn.
So when will it be released?
The studio has not announced a release time for the 5th season, but we might have a guess. EA has not talked about a change due to the virus, which means that the release time might be between 6 pm and 8 pm GMT on May 12, 2020.
