Amnesia: Rebirth: What Should You Know
Gameplay and plot details
Amnesia: Rebirth is set in the mysterious Algerian desert. The main character is a woman named Tasi Trianon. She must survive at all costs the atrocities that she encounters. Such a thing, as some will see, it will be extremely challenging.
Frictional Games released a trailer, too, that hints at what monsters Tasi will have to fight. You can watch the trailer below.
Enemies, monsters, and more spooky creatures
According to a recent interview, Thomas Grip, the game’s creative director, said that the enemies are “much more integrated into gameplay.” So, we should expect the worst yet to come.
On Steam, Amnesia: Rebirth is described pretty much as our scariest nightmare. The post reads: “The creature is only inches away. Its sole purpose – to feed off your terror…”
Remembering Amnesia: The Dark Descent: Still Scary After All These Years
Amnesia: The Dark Descent was released as a survival horror game in 2010.
The game presents Daniel, the main character, exploring the terrifying and dark Brennenburg Castle. Daniel must keep its sanity by fighting terrible monsters and other spooky entitites.
Players can solve various physics-based puzzles, open doors and explore many rooms, and fix machinery. Also, there’s an inventory that can store small objects.
According to Grip, Amnesia: The Dark Descent’s main goal is to keep Daniel’s sanity, as “the darkness itself should be an enemy.”
The game was critically well-received, earning various awards and the players’ praise.
