Some leaks have been posted on 4Chan that claim to reveal details of Rockstar’s upcoming entry to the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Fans of GTA should be aware that this information should be taken with a grain of salt because there is no way of checking if it is valid or not.
The leaker, also known as Rhanadeng, says that he is a friend of a disgruntled employee that worked on the game last year.
Rhanadeng claims that the employee asked him to leak the information about the game.
However, things escalated, and he ended up losing contact with the Rockstar member.
That person claims that the game has been in full development since 2016 or 2017, as early stages of production started shortly after GTA V was ported to PS4 and Xbox One in 2014.
Also, claims suggest that the world map of GTA 6 is as big as the one of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined. If that turns out to be accurate, we are in for quite an adventure!
The leaker also spoke of a minigame where players can take control of a stream of a protagonist’s urine via motion controls.
It was said that there would be four protagonists in the game:
- Marcus Burke, a supposed drug dealer, and father to a young son;
- Walther Wallace, a driver;
- Thomas Branigan, a smuggler who owns an aircraft known as “the Raven”;
- an unnamed Israeli IDF person.
Also, the area where the game will take place is believed to be based on Florida with Vice City among the three major cities, with a smaller one in an outer region of the map.
Half of the game is reportedly going to take place in 1980, while the other half will happen in the present day. Perhaps this is why the leaker mentioned that the missions wouldn’t feel as linear as they felt in past Rockstar games.
