MeediOS is a new open source project which pays homage to the original Meedio way of doing things (eg, database and plugins) -- an inspired Meedio rewrite. The aim is to provide a Windows based software front end for an HTPC system that allows you to configure your media for viewing by you, in your own style and unique way. MeediOS aims to be easy to use while still providing the ability for advanced views and configurations we have come to expect from Meedio setups.

Anyone can help in the development of MeediOS, this is a true OSS venture! Even if you have no programming skills there are still ways in which you can contribute.
Notes
MeediOS is three things:
1. The natural extension of the Meedio platform. Although Yahoo purchased the intellectual property (IP) of Meedio, LLC in 2006, they did not purchase the product. The original source is still closed, but we are continuing the plugin development, cloned the Meedio Add-In Directory (MAID), and cloned the MDN Wiki (documentation), and support a new phpBB Forum.
